1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we may collect your name, username, email address, age, gender, profile photo, and account preferences and settings.
User Content. We may collect content you voluntarily submit, including reviews, ratings, photos, videos, influencer submissions, business claim requests, and messages or support inquiries.
Location Information. Brinde may collect approximate or precise location information to help personalize recommendations, nearby businesses, happy hours, nightlife, and local discovery features. You may disable location access in your device settings at any time.
Device & Usage Information. We may automatically collect device type, operating system, app version, IP address, analytics data, session activity, crash reports, and interactions with businesses, listings, and features.
Business & Influencer Information. If you apply for influencer access or business ownership features, we may collect social handles, business verification documents, media uploads, public creator content, and business contact details.

3. Reviews, Usernames, and Public Content
Certain information may be publicly visible within the app, including your username, profile photo, reviews, ratings, and public influencer content. Users are responsible for the content they choose to publish.
4. Influencer Content
Influencer submissions, media uploads, and public creator content may appear publicly within Brinde if approved. By submitting influencer content, you grant Brinde a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, promote, and feature submitted content within the Brinde platform and related marketing channels. Creators retain ownership of their original content.
5. Business Listings
Business information displayed within Brinde may originate from public business data providers, manual curation, business owner submissions, third-party APIs, and publicly available online information. Business owners may request edits, corrections, or ownership claims.
6. Third-Party Services
Brinde may integrate with third-party services including Firebase, Google Maps / Places APIs, Apple services, social platforms, reservation platforms, food delivery services, affiliate partners, and analytics providers. When a business books featured placement, payment is processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor — we do not store full card numbers, only records of the purchase itself. These services may collect information subject to their own privacy policies.
7. Affiliate Links & External Services
Brinde may display links to third-party services such as reservation providers, rideshare apps, food delivery services, ticketing platforms, or partner businesses. We may receive affiliate commissions from qualifying actions or purchases. Brinde is not responsible for third-party websites, services, or transactions.
8. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce policies, and improve platform functionality. Users may request account deletion by contacting support.
9. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect user information. However, no system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
10. Children's Privacy
Brinde is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
11. Your Rights
